August 26, 2025International Dog Day

Today, we recognize International Dog Day and the important role dogs play in the lives of so many people in our community.
As a reminder, under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), only service animals are permitted to ride JATA buses and enter our facilities. A service animal is a dog (or, in some cases, a miniature horse) that has been individually trained to perform tasks for a person with a disability.
While we appreciate pets of all kinds, this policy ensures a safe and comfortable riding experience for all passengers.
Thank you for supporting our efforts to keep public transit accessible and welcoming for everyone.
