July 24, 2025JATA Offering Cooling Center Rides, Announces New JCISD Bus Stop
JATA is offering “Hot Tickets” for Jackson residents to have FREE transportation to local cooling centers such as MLK Rec Center, Westwood Mall, JATA Transfer Center, Department on Aging, and all Jackson District Library Locations. A heat emergency is automatically declared anytime temperatures reach 90 degrees.
JATA annouced new JCISD bus stop on Wisner St for the Southwest Ave Route #3. This stop will begin on August 25, 2025 and run throughout the school year. It will NOT run throughout the summers.
