Jackson Area Transportation Authority Receives Generous Support from County National Bank for Rides to Wellness Program

Jackson, October 9th – The Jackson Area Transportation Authority (JATA) is pleased to announce a significant donation from County National Bank, strengthening our Rides to Wellness program and furthering the program’s goal to improve the health and well-being of Jackson residents. This generous contribution from County National Bank has facilitated a collaboration with JTV, enabling the production of a new commercial to promote the Rides to Wellness initiative.

The Rides to Wellness program, a cornerstone of our efforts for a healthier, more equitable community, is designed to address the transportation challenges faced by many residents. By providing non-emergency ride services, Rides to Wellness aims to enhance access to vital medical appointments and wellness activities, thereby reducing missed appointments and fostering a healthier community.

Quote from Michael Brown, Executive Director of Jackson Area Transportation Authority:

“We are deeply grateful for County National Bank’s support, which enables us to expand the reach of our Rides to Wellness program. This program not only provides rides; it offers hope, healing, and a sense of community to our residents. With this collaboration with JTV, we are spreading the message far and wide, ensuring that more people are aware of the services available to them. Together, we are making a tangible difference in the lives of Jackson residents, breaking down barriers, and promoting well-being for all.”

JATA is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families in Jackson by offering accessible and reliable transportation options. The support from County National Bank reaffirms the importance of community partnerships in driving positive change. By addressing transportation barriers, we are creating a healthier, more connected Jackson.
