Try Transit Week

Normally In celebration of Try Transit Week, which is held in October, the Jackson Area Transportation Authority offers fun activities to encourage people to ride the JATA buses as well as thank current riders for using the service. However, because of the pandemic this will not be held this year.

Normally throughout the week there are giveaway items (prizes) thanking riders for using JATA. There is also an assortment of treats for sale. This is usually a great opportunity for new riders to try JATA and see where the service can take them.
